Depuis 1983, date de son départ de Supertramp, Roger Hodgson, éternel jeune homme de 64 ans aux cheveux longs et au sourire inaltérable, poursuit une carrière solo à succès dans le monde entier. En tout, il a publié cinq albums sous son nom. Le dernier, "Open the door, a d'ailleurs été enregistré en Bretagne. Dans ses spectacles, l'auteur-compositeur-interprète mêle les tubes de Supertramp et des chansons de ses albums solo comme "In Jeopardy" ou "Lovers in the Wind". Sa tournée 2014 passe par la France au mois de juin avec une date à l'Olympia à Paris qui affiche complet ( le 22) et une autre au festival Archeo Jazz de Blainville-Crevon (le 25), mais aussi par le Pays basque et Saint-Sébastien le 6 juin au Kursaal. "The Logical Song", "Dreamer", "Give a Little Bit", "Breakfast in America", "Take the Long Way Home", to name a few, are always on the radio but yet they were created over three decades ago. Since 1983, the year of his departure from Supertramp, Roger Hodgson, eternal young man of 64 with his long hair and unchanging smile, has had a successful solo career worldwide. In all, he has released five albums under his name. The last, “Open the Door,” was recorded in Brittany. In his shows, the singer-songwriter combines his hits that he later recorded with Supertramp and songs from his solo albums such as “In Jeopardy” or “Lovers in the Wind.” His 2014 Tour goes through France in June, with a date at the Olympia in Paris which is sold out (22) and another at the Archeo Jazz Festival in Blainville-Crevon (25), and also in the Basque Country in San Sebastian on June 6 at the Kursaal.
