Repertoire/Song List

Roger Hodgson wrote and composed the following songs. His trademark way of setting beautiful introspective lyrics to upbeat melodies resonated and found its way into the hearts and minds of people from cultures around the globe.  It is Roger’s Voice you have been hearing all these years and the Voice people all over the world love.  Roger began writing songs at the age of 12 and performed his first concert of original songs at the age of 13.

He later recorded some of his songs with Supertramp and many of them have become the soundtrack of our lives.  Although Roger and Supertramp’s other co-founder, Rick Davies, shared writing credit, they actually wrote and composed separately with each singing their own songs.  Rick’s songs are not on this list. Every song Roger performs in concert was written and composed solely by him.

Consistently uniting four generations at his concerts, Roger transports baby boomers back to their youth and gives younger generations a taste of why his heartfelt songs have endured. His songs have remarkably stood the test of time and earned him an adoring worldwide following.

**Note: Although the above songs that Roger recorded with Supertramp were credited Hodgson/Davies, Roger and Rick actually wrote and composed separately from the album, Indelibly Stamped, on. While many of Roger's songs are referred to as Supertramp songs even to this day, Roger wrote alone and not with Rick or the band. All of his songs, including the arrangements, were complete before taking them to the band. In fact, Roger wrote many of his songs that he recorded with Supertramp before he even met Rick and co-founded the band in 1969. While Roger is credited on the songs that Rick wrote, they are not listed on Roger's repertoire and he does not perform them in concert.
