It was about 10:30 pm when Roger Hodgson and his saxophonist Aaron MacDonald entered the stage but the mainly British audience didn’t give them acclamation immediately.

Hodgson was one of the founders of “Supertramp” in 1969 and during the 14 years he was with the band, he composed some of their greatest hits as "Give a little bit", "The Logical Song", "Dreamer", "Take the Long Way Home", "Breakfast In America" or "Fools Overture".  And it were these old and very successful hits, that made the audience dance and sing along with Roger and with Aaron Mac Donald, his outstanding companion onstage who is an excellent musician of woodwinds instruments.

And the audience was singing "Dreamer", "Give a little Bit", and they wanted more and more of his hits and didn’t allow him to make a short break.

We noticed Manuel Pinho, the ex-minister of economy in the audience and he watched with enthusiasm the spectacle, which his ex-department sponsored.

The Mayor of Albufeira also attended the concert and he was very pleased to present the venue to the local population, to tourists and outsiders.

We also discover Nuno da Camara Pereira, a Portuguese singer, who attentively followed the performance of Roger Hodgson. Maybe he compared mentally his songs with the one that Roger was singing.  And when Roger started performing "Dreamer" the audience jumped up and down and sang along with him one of the most famous melodies of “Supertramp”.  Suddenly, we can see open umbrellas and the request was obvious: “It's raining again". It was a real delirium of joy: waving hats, singing people and the audience thanked Roger in this way for his wonderful performance.

This multifaceted artist, who is playing keyboard, guitar and piano and who is performing either solo, with a band or with orchestra is currently on a world wide tour.
