Hola, amigos.

Una fue "Know who you are".

- Take the long way home

- Give a little bit

- Lovers in the wind

- Hide in your shell

- Easy does it

- Sister moonshine

- Rosie had everything planned

- Breakfast in America

- Along came Mary

- The logical song

- The more I look

- Child of vision

- Medley (Only because of you - Fool's overture - Lord is it mine)

- Know who you are

- Don't leave me now

- Dreamer

- It's raining again

BISES

- School

- Two of us

- Give a little bit

Saludos,

Abel.

Hi friends.

Just a few words to do a short review of the concert Roger played last night in Pozuelo de Alarcon, one of the best I’ve ever seen. Roger’s voice is still in good shape, and he and Aaron were perfect with their numerous instruments.

Though the venue was open air, the sound was great (very good work by Howard, Roger’s sound engineer) and besides that Roger had a couple of pleasant surprises for us with his set list.

One of them was "Know who you are". He played this song yesterday after many years not playing it, and he said it was the first time he played this song in Spain. And I was very surprised because he played it with his guitar while he was sat at the keyboards, something I had never seen before.

The other surprise was a medley composed by the first part of "Only because of you", the intro of "Fool's overture" and the whole "Lord is it mine". I had heard something like this during his tours of 1998 and 2000, but this time Roger even sang some of the lyric of "Only because of you". I swear it made me shiver.

Over the stage there were a couple of giant screens that showed the images picked up by two cameras placed near the stage. After the show I asked one of the girls who worked with the cameras if they had recorded the show. She said yes, but it won’t be featured on TV because it was just for the archives of Pozuelo Town Council, which every year records some shows of the summer festival. Bad luck.

The show ran almost two hours, no intermission, and the set list was the next:

- Take the long way home

- Give a little bit

- Lovers in the wind

- Hide in your shell

- Easy does it

- Sister moonshine

- Rosie had everything planned

- Breakfast in America

- Along came Mary

- The logical song

- The more I look

- Child of vision

- Medley (Only because of you - Fool's overture - Lord is it mine)

- Know who you are

- Don't leave me now

- Dreamer

- It's raining again

ENCORE

- School

- Two of us

- Give a little bit

After the show Roger kindly received us one more time, but we were too many people and Linda had said that I was very tired and had to talk about business with some people from Universal Music, so we decided just to take a couple of photos with him and not to bother him too much.

Sentimentally, it was very special for me enjoying this concert with my wife Pilar, my daughter Lorena, her godmother Teresa and two of my best friends, Esther and Ruth, and their husbands. And, of course, with my dear partner Juan and his little family. All of them loved the show.

It was also very nice to meet again with old concerts mates like Angel from Salamanca and Alejandro from Valencia.

And that’s all. An unforgettable night that made I became lost in thought of other recent personal troubles which are off topic.

Greetings,

Abel.
