1984 I bought my very first record. It was a special release for German, Swiss and Austrian people.   I know it today as "Die Songs einer Supergruppe(the songs of a super group) and it was from Supertramp. ;-) It contained a number of tracks from the album "Breakfast in America” and since I heard this music, as I was 13 years old, I knew that this music would attend me through my life.  After your split from Supertramp and the release of your own albums I knew instantly who was responsible for the magically sound of Supertramp.  So I just wanted to let you know that there are lots of people out there in the world who are very thankful for your life’s work and for the joy which your music brought into the hearts of us listeners.  As owner of ...

This Saturday you'll visit "The Hague” for another performance.  I've seen you so many times, yet, I can't wait, thank you. Supertramp will visit our country to celebrate an anniversary and I thought about going over and over……I will not be there, no Supertramp-anniversary without RH, I wouldn't be able to cheer. A tour is not done to forget about the creator of most of the bands biggest hits!!  I really hoped you'd join them one day; Rick should know better, wish you all the best.       ~leen

Oslo, Norway

We just got home after listening to you in Oslo at the Norwegian Wood music festival. Have not seen you live since Vancouver BC Vancouver Dome January of 1984(?). Love your music and lyrics since 1995 when I got hold of Crime of The Century and since then you have been my favorite musician, nothing else compares. Being a piano player and band member myself, I have always been intrigued by the genius and symphonic sound of your compositions.  Today was a glimpse back into my history and the many memories there to cherish.  I enjoyed Supertramp concerts in Oslo (1976?) and Drammen (1978?).  Your music will live forever and will continue to give us joy and many happy moments.
