Temecula, March 27 - Phoenix, March 28 - Miguel Angel Candela

Many thanks to Breakfast in Spain for these posts.  For photos and Spanish versions, please visit their site
Temecula, Casino Pechanga, March 27

Again, one more year, I decided to cross the water and see the first gigs of the tour and meeting old friends.
As the song says, you know "Take a jumbo, cross the water, like to see America. See the girls in, California ...."
And it was fantastic! I never get tired of exploring the far West......

First gig was in California, a huge casino, and the next day in Phoenix, Arizona, about 600 km I had to drive across the desert (and Roger's team too!)
The first show was sold out, and the Casino theater was spectacular, large, comfortable, with two large video screens .....
The set list was the usual, though that night was not "Hide in your shell", surprise. But other great classics like ...

Fallsview Resort - April 23, 2010 - by Kathy Jones

The power of music never ceases to amaze me.

Randy and I once again had the privilege of seeing Roger and Aaron in Canada last night and tonight. As I write this, I'm still experiencing that natural high that comes with seeing Roger perform. Roger is one of the few artists who can make you FEEL where the music is coming from. He doesn't just go through a routine when he takes the stage, whether it's the first show of the tour or the fifty-first. I'm not alone in my perception. I saw the smiling faces, heard the singing (the whistling!). The second night, we sat next to a couple of guys who drove all the way from Indiana. They had never seen Roger solo. Afterwards, one of them said it was the best show he had ever seen in his life, and he had seen literally hundreds, including Supertramp in ...

Fallsview Casino and Resort, Niagara Falls, Canada - April 22 ~ by Linda Gianotti

Fallsview Casino and Resort, Niagara Falls, Canada – April 22, 2010

What a night that was had by all.  Once again, Roger put on a spectacular show.  The sold out crowd warmly greeted Roger from the moment he walked out on stage and the marvelous evening began.   Timeless classics such as Take the Long Way Home, The Logical Song, Breakfast in America, Dreamer, and Give a Little Bit had everyone clapping and dancing in their seats.   Fool’s Overture had everyone spellbound.    Roger also performed a beautiful unrecorded song, The Awakening and treated the audience to an elegant rendition of the rarely performed Puppet Dance.

The concert went by so very quickly.  Too many hits, not enough time.  Several people said they could have listened to Roger for hours more.   With each song being performed with the precision of a master, it is very easy to understand why ...

Pechanga Resort Casino 03-27-10 by Cindy Lee

This was my first, and hopefully not last, Roger Hodgson concert. Due to circumstances beyond my control I had to miss Roger the last few times he was in my area, so I was determined not to miss him again if he ever came back. What a dream-come-true surprise it was to find out he would be here on March 27, 2010! I was most definitely there that night!
Roger and Aaron’s first concert of 2010 was at the Pechanga Resort/Casino, an Indian (Native American) Casino in Southern California. It was a nice enough place except that, even though California is a no public smoking state, smoking is allowed in casinos. I inadvertently ended up parking on the wrong side of the building and had to walk through the smoke. That was not a good way to start the night. But the casino staff was very friendly and the Showroom itself ...
