Backstage Pass from Moncton, NB, Canada - October 30, 2013

Wow is all I can say! Tonight Roger returned to Casino New Brunswick/Nouveau-Brunswick to a sold out house. We saw many familiar faces and were happy to see many new ones, too! As the house was filling up, I talked to many who have seen him perform before and they were so looking forward to seeing him again tonight. We had a very warm, enthusiastic audience who gave Roger several standing ovations throughout the concert.

Several venue staff members told us that they remembered that Roger was their first artist to perform in the brand new venue in July 2010 and although 200 other artists have come and gone, he is still their favorite! The casino is already making plans for his return next year!

Backstage Pass from Westbury, NY - October 26, 2013

php/Westbury FB.jpg

What a show tonight in Westbury, NY at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury! A venue "in the round" with fantastic acoustics and the audience loved the warm, intimate ambience. Roger performed his "Babaji" tonight, and the crowd responded with a standing ovation to this not-often-played gem - In fact, there were no fewer than nine standing ovations during the show tonight, plus ovations when Roger came on the stage and at the end of the show! Each and every song was greeted with such enthusiasm and emotion. Thank you, New York, for your hospitality, and we certainly hope to be back!

It was wonderful to see fans from our International Community meeting in New York tonight! In the audience were fans from Texas, California, Florida, Washington, DC, Portugal, Brazil, and all over the Northeast US!

Join us in New Jersey! Next stop on the Breakfast in America Tour is Collingswood, NJ, Sunday, Oct ...

Backstage Pass from Englewood, NJ - October 25, 2013

It was great to be back in New Jersey and see our friends and fans tonight in Englewood at the bergenPAC (Bergen Performing Arts Center). We had a great, energetic audience who were on their feet several times during the show. Roger performed one of his most touching songs, "Puppet Dance," which is not often part of his set list. The crowd was mesmerized.

Toward the end of the show, we had an unusual experience for the last three songs. There were large yellow balloons raining down from the balcony. That really set the atmosphere for "It's Raining Again." It was raining balloons and they were bouncing through the air all over the venue. What a great ending for tonight's concert! After the show, we met the two long-time fans from New York who were blowing up the balloons during the concert and sending them down at the end. It was a fun ...

Backstage Pass from Verona, NY - October 24, 2013

Another wonderful audience tonight in Verona, NY  at Turning Stone Resort Casino.  A full house and many in the audience went from smiles to tears and back again as Roger performed his classics.   Roger had a special fan in the house - three-year-old Jacob - who had the time of his life at his first concert with his mom and dad and staying awake for the whole show!   Jacob's mom, who is expecting next month, said the baby was dancing the whole concert!   Roger was happy to play Jacob's favorite song, Dreamer, for him.   Our contest winners, Julie and Tony, were ecstatic to have won and had a great time backstage.   They brought their teenage son, too, who is a big fan.   It was so nice to see so many families.

Every staff member we encountered, including the General Manager and Director of Entertainment, ...

Backstage Pass from Albany, NY - October 22, 2013

What a warm welcome we received tonight in Albany, NY at The Egg Performing Arts Center. One of our special guests backstage after the show was a young lady by the name of Philomena who is celebrating her 80th birthday this week. Philomena's daughter, Kristy, won our Facebook contest for two tickets and two backstage passes for the Albany show and Kristy surprised her mom with a photo with Roger after the show. There were smiles all around and what a night to remember for them. We saw three generations in the audience who were all equally enjoying the concert. How wonderful it is for us to see families enjoying Roger's music and creating new memories.

While The Egg is a very unique venue, it has great acoustics and a very intimate feeling to it. Before we even left the venue, several people asked if we would return. We certainly hope to! ...
