I truely enjoyed the show Saturday nght in Modesto! There is no question that Roger is a true composer, musician & singer. He has not lost a note in his voice over the years. I can only assume this is because he can actually sing his songs and not scream them into the microphone!
His band is very tight and really added to the show. His sax/every other instrument known to man really seemed to be enjoying himself throughout the concert. A very talented gentleman who even garnered a "I love you sax player" from the audience.
I also agree the song of the night was the Death and the Zoo which really showed off some sounds from the zoo made from instruments most of the audience had never seen before.
The sound sytem at the Gallo Arts is second to none and it really showed with a supreme talent like Roger.
