24th - a date to remember
To
go to Paris, there’s no need to look for excuses, but to be reunited with good friends and a
concert by Roger, undoubtedly, is the best thing we could do to release the Fall.
With
our suitcase full of hope, and eager to enjoy the magic of Roger we boarded the
plane. Despite the strike, that canceled our flight, we had the great fortune to catch another
flight the same Friday 24th, to keep emotion, the flight
left late in Madrid. My God,
we were a bundle of nerves!!!
As soon as we arrived
in Paris, we met with all of our nice friends from French Fan Club, waiting at the door of the Palais de Congres, It was a happy

My managers proposed me to play in Paris, but I told ...

"ROGER HODGSON, THE ETERNAL DREAMER” By YBES GABAY Posted on French paper LA DEPECHE September 28th, 2010 English translation by JESUS FUENTES A beautiful wind of nostalgia was blowing yesterday at the Casino Theatre Barriere in Toulouse. Roger Hodgson, former songwriter and owner of most of the songs by Supertramp, activating the memories of 1,200 fans who, of course, have never forgotten him.
Clearly moved by the great welcome they had kept for him, the English man was joking in French with his loyal saxophonist Aaron MacDonald, taking the time enough to relish his peculiar relationship with his audience since 40 years ago. "You are going to hear this songs as they was the day I have write it”, he said with a smile. The syntax of his sentence was not too good, but his happiness seemed to be immense as the people stood on their feet several times to show him their appreciation with ovations. With his ...
