Backstage Pass from Curitiba, Brazil ~ October 17, 2014
We returned to Curitiba today and saw many familiar faces that we saw on our first trip in 2012 to this beautiful concert hall, Teatro Positivo. Brazil is beginning to feel like home – it’s Roger’s fourth time performing in this country. Tonight Roger walked out to greet the people and shook hands with some in the audience. The warmth of the people here touch his heart. He was impressed how they understand his English.
What a day it’s been - our five hour bus ride today turned into a seven hour journey due to a very tragic accident that we encountered on the freeway. We are all so grateful to be here and able to bring so many smiles to people’s faces. Our equipment all finally arrived before the first show yesterday in Florinaópolis, the only thing we are still waiting for is Bryan’s suitcase. Fortunately there was a cool mall not far from the hotel and he went on a shopping spree. Hopefully it will last, as there still is no confirmation that it has been found.
These are the behind the scenes things that people don’t often hear about. And guess what – tomorrow we get to do it again – we’re off to play sold-out Rio, Roger’s third show in a row. And on Sunday we rest!
Hope to see you all along the way……

Brazillian freeways are dangerous. I hope you can arrive at Rio safety and enjoy that beautiful city. Thank you to bring us your music despite the difficulties and tiredness. Brasil loves you and God will bless your tour in this country. I've loved Roger since I listened"Lovers in the Wind"for the first time,(I was just a teenager on 1984) and, when he sang this song yesterday, in Florianopolis, my heart was touced deeply again and my love for him increased. Thank you very much to share your gift with us. Cheers, Luciana
I was for a moment in the joyful atmosphere of Roger interconnection with its audience. These are powerful experiences for a lifetime.
I think it's good when you share also such episodes, such was the accident on the road and the loss of Brian's luggage. Maybe we will more to realize that every common meeting is a gift, and perceive the loving God´s hand over you, which lead you and protect you.
And remember that you have also fans " reservists " who travel in the heart with you, and begging for your safety.
Love to you all!
and have a good rest on Sunday!
