Another magical experience tonight…
As Roger started to play his first note of the concert, a Bald Eagle in a nest in a tree to the side of the stage poked his head up and spread his wings wide open. How cool is that? Guess we have another new fan. ☺
Roger opened the Snoqualmie Casino summer concert series tonight with his third year performing here at Mountain View Plaza, an awesome outside venue surrounded by beautiful trees. This year I saw people I knew who came from as far south as San Diego and as far north as Vancouver. Great audience tonight and everyone seemed captivated when Roger included several songs in his set list that are not regularly played such as Love is a Thousand Times, Babaji, Along Came Mary, and The Meaning.
For those who were at the show tonight and for all others around the world, I invite you to take a moment and leave a comment on Roger's artist page on Ticketmaster - http://www.ticketmaster.com/Roger-Hodgson-tickets/artist/735283 and on videos on Roger's channel at http://www.YouTube.com/RogerHodgson. Share in your native language with other fans what it's like to see Roger in concert and what his music means to you.
Tomorrow we head to Illinois where we will be at Naperville Ribfest - Presented by Exchange Club (about 30 miles outside Chicago) on Saturday - a great event where all proceeds go to assist abused children and victims of domestic violence. Remaining tickets may be purchased at the Festival or online at http://bit.ly/1cII418. We hope to see you there!
