Backstage Pass from San Sebastian, Spain ~ June 6, 2014
Here we are again in San Sebastian! We last played here on June 29, 2008 – the night that Spain won the European Championship. What a party that was!! We had a TV in the lobby and called an intermission during the show so everyone could catch the end of the match. This time we are back with the full band and the city is even more beautiful than I had remembered. It has everything from pristine beaches, to classic architecture, and exquisite food. The sad part for all of us is that we are here for only a very short amount of time. We arrived late this afternoon and will be heading to Andorra early in the morning for another show tomorrow evening.
Tonight Roger performed some songs that he did not play last night including, Hide in Your Shell, Babaji, and my personal favorite – Lord is it Mine.
Looking out on the audience from backstage, I felt the magic of this wonderful concert hall venue with the soft seats and elegant decor and a reverent audience, who fully unleashed their deep appreciation as the concert progressed in the powerful encore. Each concert is unique and special in its own way. Tomorrow will be an open air festival in the Andorra town square.

It is always wonderful to return to the same place. But what we will experience there is always new and unrepeatable.
A lot of joy in Andorra!
