Backstage Pass from Milwaukee, WI ~ May 2, 2014
As with last night, Roger's performance of his unrecorded "The Awakening" touched people very deeply. It is a song about forgiving oneself. Another highlight of our residency in Milwaukee has been the nightly performance of "Death and a Zoo" which poses the question, if you were a wild animal and were captured, would you rather face life in a cage or death. People really cut loose on "Child of Vision" and during "Give a Little Bit," the audience stood up and sang together, as one.
Tonight someone told us that Roger's smile is infectious and that the energy from the stage and in the room, plus memories of Roger's songs, made them feel so very young again. As one fan said "It was like it was 30 years ago and when we were all a bit less grey." Many people have come to all three shows and are coming again tomorrow night. This confirms that once you see Roger in concert, you can't get enough! It's addicting! See you tomorrow for the forth consecutive sold out show!
