Backstage Pass from Guadalajara, Mexico ~ November 8, 2013
Viva México!!!! Los Quiero!!!!Roger and his band and crew have all fallen in love with the people here, on our first tour of Mexico. Tonight we played in Guadalajara at the Auditorio TELMEX, our second show in this great country. When the show ended, a familiar chant erupted throughout the venue until Roger and his band returned to the stage for their encore of Give a Little Bit followed by It's Raining Again!
Tonight we saw many familiar faces that we also saw at the show on Wednesday in Mexico City. There were fans in the audience tonight from across Mexico, the US, South America, and even a few from Europe! We heard the ladies from Guadalajara are some of the most beautiful in the country and they surely are. Plus, we found out that "Mariachi" music, which is the most typical and folkloric kind of Mexican music, was born in Guadalajara! This morning at breakfast we had the great pleasure of being serenaded by a group of fine Mariachi musicians.
Our emotions are mixed as on Sunday we will end our worldwide 2013 Breakfast in America Tour in Monterrey. We have much gratitude to all the fans who have supported Roger’s performances around the world. Thank you for writing in to Roger's Guestbook and Facebook and sharing your hearts with Roger.
If you don't have your tickets yet for the Monterrey show on Sunday, you can get them online throughhttp://www.superboletos.com/perl/redirect.pl?eventoId=14020. We will see everyone on Sunday in Monterrey at Arena Monterrey. What a fine ending to our Breakfast in America world tour!

I haven´t found the right words to say how grateful am I of such an experience like the one we lived in Guadalajara last night. I was a kid when I first heard your songs and when the first notes of "Take the long way home" were played and Roger´s voice was heard, I did not realize the ticket to the concert also included a trip to the past... to all those memories in our lives.. good and bad... so many people and places where this music takes you because we have been partners in life, but I only learned this last night !!
It's amazing that people of next country could have experience the magic of Roger's personality and his profound beautiful songs.
No wonder that the audience in Guadalajara sang, so that they could give a little bit of their love back to Roger ...
He really deserve it.
His love, has a strong echo around the world.
Whether in America or in Europe, everywhere.
Love understands everyone, and each of us longs for love.
Thank you Roger, for another wonderful year with you and your music.
Thanks to the band for perfect musical accompaniment, and not least thanks also to you Linda, Shakti, for all your toil hidden behind each a successful event.
God bless you all!

Tuve el gusto de disfrutar el concierto de Roger Hodgson en Ciudad de México ,...fue Fantástico ,Maravilloso!!!.
Deseamos verte en México nuevamente !!!.
Roger, PLEASE PLEASE come play Austin, TX!!!!!
I second the statement made by Bart. It would be great if Roger could perform in Austin, Texas, the live music capitol of the world. The Moody Theater and the One World Theatre would both be great venues because they have state of the art sound systems and seating.
