Veteran broadcaster, Phil Paleologos, from WBSM, introduced Roger tonight and set the tone for a relaxing, intimate evening. Phil spoke of Roger's life-altering 1987 accident where he shattered both his wrists and was told by doctors that he would never play instruments again. Through shear determination, physical therapy, and prayer, Roger willed himself to make a full recovery and did so within 18 months. Phil expressed that this experience that Roger went through inspired him to realize that anything is possible if you set your heart and mind to it. This is proven by the fact that today Roger is giving of himself by playing his songs live for fans around the world night after night.
Roger's performances tonight of The More I Look and Rosie Had Everything Planned received heartwarming applause. The audience really appreciated Roger's laid back, comfortable demeanor and many said they are planning to come to some of the other shows in NY and NJ later in the week. We hope to see you during the next few days, too!
