Good thing that there wasn't a roof on Artpark, because Roger Hodgson & Company would have blown it clean off!
I had high expectations of seeing a terrific show from the Supertramp legend, but that performance left my wife & I in awe. It took us, not just through the classics that we always heard on the radio, but also the masterpieces that faded as the LP's wore out.
We especially loved "Fool's Overture", and the extreme intensity of "Death and a Zoo".
Thanks for an outstanding evening in the park!
Absolutely wonderful evening. Your voice was magnificent, played keyboards, piano, and guitar masterfully, and each member of the band contributed to the classic, superb sound.
One of the highlights was "Hide In Your Shell', I didn't even need to use the 'please play' sign that I was just bringing out as you played it.
I may have to travel south to Chautauqua in three days to see you again.
An evening of beauty and emotion. Thank you!
Seeing Roger with a berydear frien tomorrow at Ravinia in IL. We saw Supertramp when they donthe last tour in Chicago way back when. Her husband, who has since passed away loved them too. What a blessing that we are able to hear roger tomorrow. Wish that he would do I'm not afraid sometime. When my mom was in the final days of her courageous battle with leukemia that was her song. Just thinking of it makes me smile. That was25 yrs ago. God bless ou, Roger
Ravinia tonight: Please play the same set list from Lewiston 2 nights ago. (Please don't leave out School and Hide In Your Shell.) Thank you, we all can't wait.
I saw Supertramp in Buffalo when I was a teenager....I am 51 now and we just attended your concert in Lewiston, NY. I must say that your new band is outstanding! The sax player was just pectacular... Wicked show.
I closed my eyes and would swear I was listening to one of my albums.
Roger, I don't know how you do it....and please don't stop.
Loved every second - looking forward to your next visit :)
