[ Posted byBill, August 18, 2012 16:51 ] Last saw Roger with Supertramp in Montreal in 1983 during Famous Last Words where I drove up from UVM in Burlington VT, with a college friend. Went to both Hampton beach 8/16 and Twin River 8/17 this time with my wife. I brought my sheet music book from Breakfast in America I've been playing for years and showed it around. The woman next to me Friday told me she hoped he played C'est Le Bon and I no sooner got done telling her it wasn't in the set TH night when Roger broke into...C'est Le Bon and she nearly jumped out of her seat. Death and a Zoo brought my wife to tears and she's now a fan. Awesome concerts, great band. This is how great entertainers should be seen. Combined with Davies there was always less of a chance of hearing some of Rogers great but lesser known songs in a Supertramp concert. Now's the chance to hear them.

It was a moving experience, and you sound as good as you did in 1979. Literally blew me away. All my best to you.
