Most amazing show and wish come true, lots of Roger Music has help me cope with my depression for the past number of years. Besides the couple from dallas texas, i too, was in attendance, traveling to vancouver, from san antonio, texas just to enjoy some quality music

I was "won over" as a result of having watched and listened to the Live in Montreal DVD. In fact, I was so impressed with that DVD, I watched it twice in a row! It's a magical concert that even inspired something of a song for me the next morning. So I wanted to experience this precious feeling in person, but unfortuantely, the audience was not nearly as civilized as the one that appears on the Montreal DVD.

I was embarrassed by the audience on more than a few occassions. I heard from someone (but cannot verify this to be true) that the casino gives free tickets to gamblers (many of whom are seriously inebriated) to fill any empty seats. Whatever the cause, this boorishness prevented me from having what likely would otherwise have been a magical experience. While Roger was speaking between songs on one occasion, he was interrupted by some joker yelling nonsensical garbage from the back of the theatre. Roger carried on as best he could under the circumstances - still giving at least 100%, but he deserves better. The irony of him singing "If Everyone Was Listening" was certainly not lost on me.

I was actually pleased that the songs I most wanted to hear, namely "Even in the Quietest Moments" and "Lord Is It Mine" were not played, because the vibe in the room was not appropriate for these (to me at least) more sacred songs. That said, there were still many reasons to smile and marvel; and Fool's Overture (which didn't appear on the DVD I saw), was just one highlight among many.
