Hinckley, MN ~ March 2, 2012 ~ Reflection by Toni Amey
The concert at Grand Casino in Hinckley, Minnesota was absolutely amazing! He had the crowd rocking from the moment he walked on stage. There were standing ovations with the first few songs and the audience, anxious with anticipation for what they hoped he would perform, shouted out requests fir their favorite songs and cries of adoration! But, when the Logical Song started, it was all bets off, the crowd was on their feet through the entire song. And when Roger said it was okay to stand by the stage, there wasn't a butt in a chair! It was a great night of fun with laughing, singing, dancing and lots of tears! I cried completely through "Sister Moonshine" and the crazy guy next to me cried through "Even in the Quietest Moments". I saw tears from others during "Hide in Your Shell" and "Fools Overture" too! All tears of love and joy. I will never forget this night. If you were at this concert, you know what I'm talking about. If you weren't, you just have to see Roger in concert to feel what words just can't describe.

Currently going through withdrawal symptoms - no Roger Hodgson for a month now. I'm so looking forward to the next concert. My plan was to hit the huge MegaMillions lottery, retire, make millionaires out of a lot of people whom I care about, make a lot of charities happy, and go to EVERY Roger Hodgson concert from now until they get tired of seeing my face. Alas, I'm back at work... no lottery winnings. Looking forward (yearning, actually) to Roger's next concert - what an incredible performer with the best band I've ever heard (bar none).
