The night of July 12 was memorable for all lovers of good music.
The Campo de Marte Auditorium of Tarragona was filled with an audience waiting for something. And they found it.
5 minutes after 22:00 Roger appeared on the stage and the audience burst into applause. Many of us thought: I can not believe I am watching the great Roger Hodgson!!!
Roger began the show with the same song that opened their previous concerts. Take the long way home. The characteristic sound of the piano and harmonica made the audience scream with joy.
Roger was accompanied by a great band, master musicians.
Ian Stewart, Bryan Head, Kevin Adamson and the incredible Aaron Mcdonald.
At first there was a slight problem with the sound that was quickly fixed by technicians.
During his performance Roger was alternating guitar and piano and between songs he spoke a little with the public or some a joke.
The show continued for two hours and Roger gave the public all his great songs. In jeopardy, Hide In Your Shell (brilliant), The Logical Song, Fool's Overture, Breakfast in America, School, Along Came Mary, Dreamer (this song up to the public from her seat and its also one of my favorites)
Halfway through the concert started a storm full of lightning and thunder that "helped" to give more special effect to Fool's Overture.
I have to say that Roger's voice is amazing. I love it more now, sounds great!!!! A masterful voice.
Roger and his band played nonstop for two hours and finally said goodbye to a devoted audience that they wanted more songs.
They returned to the stage and played three themes: Two of Us, Give a little bit and It's Raining Again. The curiosity was it's raining at the end of the concert and Roger ended the show with "It's Raining..."
Roger & band thank you very much. You give us a memorable concert that we did move us, have fun, remember, feel, enjoy ... One word: AWESOME.
I have to say that the next day I met Roger in person and I could have a words with him and get a photo. Unforgettable. Unforgettable. Thank you very much Linda for helping me fulfill my dream. You're an angel. Roger thank you very much for giving me a little bit of you to me. You're a great person.
